Opening Act: Danny Granstaff
Danny grew up in the British West Indies as a missionary kid. He is a finger-style guitarist who creates and performs instrumental music ranging from world-fusion and jazz to tribal and ethereal styles. As an improvisational musician, he values creativity and performs without musical boundaries.
Since moving to Vermont six years ago, Danny has shifted his focus to vocal performances, covering well-loved songs from the 1940s to the present. His genres consist of a broad range from Americana, Bluegrass, Jazz Pop standards, Folk etc. He and his wife now live and work in the Lamoille Valley area.
George Woodard, Jim Pitman, and Carrie Cook Trio
We play music from days gone by, some of them about Vermont. A few of the songs were written by George! In the trio, George is the main vocalist. Jim and Carrie will sing a few as well.
George plays guitar, Jim plays pedal steel and dobro, and Carrie plays bass and Kazoo.
